Who we are

The people behind Link Talent Recruitment

Link Talent Recruitment is run by LINK TECHNICAL TALENT LTD, a small team based in the UK. We work with technology startups that need to bring in engineers, product people and data specialists, often at the point where a wrong hire costs more than a slow one.

We started out doing the same work as the people we now recruit for, so we know what a job description leaves out. That is why we begin every brief with a conversation rather than a form. You tell us how your team works, what good looks like in the first ninety days, and where the last hire went wrong.

From there we map the market properly. We look at who is genuinely open to a move, not just who has a profile that says they might be. We speak to candidates about the work itself, the shape of the team and the honest trade-offs, then bring you a shortlist with the reasoning attached.

Most of our work sits with startups between ten and two hundred people, though we take on roles of any size when the problem is interesting. We are happy to talk about a single senior hire or a small team build. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will say so early and point you somewhere better.
